COACHING STYLE
The Masters of Chen Taichi Academy are authentic inheritor of Chen Style Taichi from the original Chenjiagou(Chen Village). Students will experience the life of a Taichi practitioners. They have rich experience teaching international students in China and abroad,The Masters are dedicated to the teaching of their students and individually nurturing their potential. Students often wish to return again after training, and a deep relationship has been made between Masters and students, the period that you have been trained here may be you best memory in your life, so you can set your mind at ease to learn Chen Style Tai Chi in our academy. Master Chen Xiaoxing
As the Grandmaster of the Chen Taichi Academy, this individual serves as a primary guardian of one of the world’s most revered martial traditions. In their dual role as the Executive Principal of the Chen Taichi Academy, they provide the strategic vision and educational leadership necessary to preserve the technical integrity of the art for future generations. Their authority is deeply rooted in an incomparable heritage as a 19th generation descendant of Chenjiagou Chen Style Tai Chi, representing a direct bloodline to the very birthplace of the practice. Further cementing their influence within the global martial arts community, they serve as the President of the Chenjiagou Chen Style Tai Chi Association, where they oversee the standards, certification, and international promotion of authentic Chen Style Tai Chi.
Master Chen Ziqiang
Head Coach of Chen Taichi Academy， Secretary General of Chenjiagou Chen-style Tai Chi Association， Secretary General of World Tai Chi Federation， Direct lineal descendant of the 20th generation of Chen-style Tai Chi in Chenjiagou. He began practicing his family’s boxing and weapons routines with his father Chen Xiaoxing from an early age, and also received careful guidance from his second uncle Chen Xiaowang. Intelligent, diligent and dedicated to research, he excels not only in Chen-style Tai Chi forms and various weapons, but is also highly proficient in Tai Chi push-hands and free sparring. His movements feature sudden bouncing, shaking, pressing and explosive releasing — fast, fierce, sharp and crisp, with powerful internal skill. He has been teaching at Chenjiagou Tai Chi School since 1998.
Master Li Jiawei
From first prize in school sports meets to champion in international competitions, he excels in all events—from the traditional and new frames of Chen-style Tai Chi to double broadswords and long spear. He has repeatedly taken top honors in various provincial and municipal martial arts tournaments. In 2023, he was awarded the title of Professional Coach in Martial Arts Routine (Tai Chi). In 2024, he was appointed a director of the Chenjiagou Chen-style Tai Chi Association. Behind these honors lies his profound understanding of Tai Chi culture and relentless practice. They also reflect the high teaching quality of Chen Taichi Academy.
Master Cui Tao
Head Coach of the Adult Class at Chen Taichi Academy. National First‑Class Martial Arts Master / Referee, Inheritor of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Tai Chi, 6th Duan Grade of Chinese Martial Arts, and an authentic inheritor of Chen‑style Tai Chi. He began practicing Chen‑style Tai Chi under his father’s guidance from an early age, and later refined his skills under the careful instruction of Chen Xiaowang and Chen Xiaoxing. In 2005, he was admitted to the Department of Martial Arts, Shanghai University of Sport, majoring in Traditional Chinese Ethnic Sports. He joined the university’s Tai Chi team and received systematic professional training under Professor Xie Yelei. He is proficient in the traditional frame, new frame, double broadswords, long spear, Tai Chi push‑hands and other routines of Chen‑style Tai Chi. His forms are relaxed, steady, round and flexible, integrating hardness and softness. He has won first prizes from school sports meets to international competitions, and claimed numerous championships in provincial and municipal martial arts tournaments. In 2023, he was awarded the title of Professional Coach in Martial Arts Routine (Tai Chi). In 2024, he was appointed a director of the Chenjiagou Chen‑style Tai Chi Association.
